ZERO DOUBT. MAXIMUM CONFIDENCE.
The proven standard in low starch, low GI feed.
A nutritionally advanced, fibre-based pellet formulated to support digestive and hoof health in starch-sensitive horses and ponies.
Formulation Highlights:
- LOW NSC: Non-structural carbohydrates (NSC) are highly fermentable sugars that, if undigested, can disrupt hindgut health and contribute to irregular insulin responses or ‘fizzy’ behaviour in sensitive horses. Hygain Zero® minimises these risks with a carefully controlled NSC level.
- DIGESTIVE HEALTH: The high (35%) fibre content nourishes beneficial hindgut microbes, producing essential energy and nutrients. Combined with low NSC and added prebiotics, Hygain Zero® supports gut balance and helps maintain a strong immune system.
- SLOW RELEASE ENERGY: As a ‘full feed’, Hygain Zero® is fed at higher volumes to meet nutritional needs, delivering a steady source of slow release energy. This makes it ideal for horses requiring condition support or those prone to ‘fizzy’ or ‘hot’ behaviour during work.
- ULCER SAFE: High NSC diets increase the risk of equine gastric ulcer syndrome. Hygain Zero®’s low NSC formulation makes it suitable for horses susceptible to gastric ulcers. Hygain Zero® is grain free and expertly balanced with vegetable proteins, Hygain RBO® Oil, essential vitamins and chelated minerals to support metabolic health and digestive wellbeing.
