Char is a 22 year old full time eventer based in Karaka, Auckland, currently competing up to 4* level with her talented team of five mares. Char is proud to be part of the New Zealand High Performance Potential Squad and alongside her riding, she is also studying a Commerce degree, majoring in Supply Chain Management and Economics through Waikato University. 

Recent highlights for Char's team include winning the 2025 CCI4* Eventing Horse of the Year on Festival, representing New Zealand in the 2024 Oceania Senior Team at HOY 2024, and claiming the NZ National 4*L Three-Day Event title board Festival. She also achieved a 4th place finish at the 2024 Sydney International 3DE in the CCI3*L class with her up and coming mare, Carousal.

A career milestone for Char was winning the CCI3*L at the 2022 Melbourne International 3DE, while representing NZ in the winning Oceania Young Rider Team. Char's long term dream is to represent New Zealand at the Olympics and World Championships.

Alongside her own competition aspirations, she is also passionate about producing quality young horses and supporting the next generation of riders through coaching and development.
